everyone is not cut out to open a bmw dealership

Most people have ambitious dreams during their childhood. The sad news is that many of these dreams are forgotten or aborted once they become older. The good news is that sometimes the forgotten dreams are suddenly and surprisingly bought to the forefront. In many cases this is actually a good thing. In other cases, it probably would've been better if certain dreams stayed dead. That's because many people make the mistake of going after a desire or goal that they just flat out can't handle. This is how you get people auditioning for American Idol, who have no talent whatsoever. On an even smaller and more realistic scale, there are also people who try to do things like start their own BMW dealership without the necessary skills, knowledge and wherewithal. So, if anyone is thinking of starting one of these ventures, there are several things they should keep in mind.

For instance, in order to start a BMW dealership a person must be relatively wealthy or in other words rich. Having $50,000 in the bank isn't enough. In fact, a person would need hundreds of thousands or at least a few million dollars handy. This is because the business owner must have enough funds to afford business overhead, employee salaries, insurance and much more.

Someone might say that people don't have to be rich to pursue this type of endeavor. All they really have to do is take out a loan. The question is how many people are getting approved for multi-million dollar loans these days? The average person wouldn't even think about asking for such a loan. That's because they realize that in order to be approved for something like that, they must already possess a great deal of wealth.

Another element that a prospective BMW dealership owner should have is a lot of background knowledge about the car industry. So, they will need to do some extensive studying an research, just to find out how the field actually works. This will give them a foundation to stand on. Without building this foundation, the person would be in jeopardy of sabotaging their own business.

Along with the aforementioned characteristics and elements, the prospective owner should also have common sense when it comes to the business side of things. They must also be able to control their compassionate side when necessary. In other words, they can't be so nice that they want to give away more cars or money than their bank account will allow. It's okay to be charitable, but it's not good to overdo it.

If anyone is thinking about opening their own BMW dealership, they may want to think again and seriously consider whether or not they are cut out for the job.

famous runners up

In a competition you always strive to be number one, the best, the winner. However, there can only be one winner and this is true in music competitions as well. The winner from a music competition gets a lot of attention that likely result in fame and fortune. Sometimes though the runner up becomes more successful than or just as successful as the winner. We've seen this happen over time in music competitions such as Star Search and American Idol. Pop sensations Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears were runners- up on Star Search. Here are the runners-up from a more modern music competition, American Idol.

Starting in order of seasons, the runner up of season one was Justin Guarini. He lost to Kelly Clarkson, who is now one of the world's recognized recording artists. I would say in this instance, he had some fame but now as much as Kelly. He released two albums after American Idol that were called Justin Guarini and Stranger Things Have Happened.

Season Two, which aired in 2003, had some tough competition. The two finalists were Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken. The runner up that year was Clay Aiken. After the show, he had a lot of success in the mainstream pop music industry. Maybe even more than Ruben Studdard did. Clay has won numerous music awards and has released five albums. Ruben has released four albums, and is better known as an R&B singer.

The runner up in season three was Diana DeGarmo. She was beat out by Fantasia Barrino. She released two albums called Blue Skies and Unplugged in Nashville. Soon after American Idol, she decided to sing country music instead of pop music. I would say that Fantasia got more of the spotlight in this scenario. However, Fantasia doesn't have the fame that Clay Aiken or Kelly Clarkson has.

In season four the top two contestants were Bo Bice and Carrie Underwood. The winner of this was Carrie Underwood which left Bo as the runner up. Both of these contestants were not known for their pop music style. Bo sings southern rock and Carrie sings country music. Bo has only released two albums which are called The Real Thing and See the Light. In this case, the runner up didn't have as much success as the winner.

Season five was a fun one to watch and had a lot of character. The runner up was Katharine McPhee and Taylor Hicks was the winner. Katharine released two albums, and has great success as an actress. She has had roles in different movies and television shows such as the House Bunny and CSI: New York.

In 2007, season six aired. The competition was great and the runner up was Blake Lewis. The winner that year was Jordin Sparks. He has released two albums, A.D.D. (Audio Day Dream) and Heartbreak on Vinyl. The second album has some songs that will be release this year as singles and will have to be determined their position on the Billboard music chart.

Season seven had a young runner up, David Archuleta. He was beat out by David Cook. Archuleta got a lot of attention because of his age, looks, and great voice. He can also play musical instruments like the guitar and piano. He has been nominated and won a lot of Teen Choice awards for his music and talent.

Season eight which aired last year had so many great singers. It was narrowed down to Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. Adam Lambert was the runner up, but that hasn't stopped him from being so successful.

hollywood visits the cosmetic dentist - celebrities who have had
work done

Thinking about visiting the cosmetic dentist? Before you have a look at their before and after pictures, take a minute to consider what dental work has done for some of the world's favorite celebrities. Here's just a sampling of celebs who have had work done on their smiles.

American Idol Gets Its Teeth Done

Simon Cowell, the equally scary and funny host of "American Idol" has a sparkly smile that's not entirely natural. Part of it is due to veneer work that he got done. He paid around a thousand pounds a veneer; you can get it done much cheaper than that!

Speaking of "American Idol," third-place Idol champion Elliott Yasmin was tortured by the press for the appearance of his teeth, nicknamed "Snaggletooth" by many. Is it his fault he loves to smile so much? $50,000 and 20 painful hours in the dentist's chair later and he has a row of perfect, radiant teeth.

Pop Music And Cosmetic Dentistry

Always a fashion trendsetter, hundreds of adult women ran to their nearest cosmetic dentist to get braces after Gwen Stefani made it big. She made braces look cool, but it was more than just a fashion statement. They were real!

Hillary Duff is known for her high-energy performances. During one such performance, she chipped a tooth on the microphone and it took a whole row of veneers to fix it. But now her smile is looking as wonderful as ever.

Miley Cyrus is another young start who had dental work done. She also had veneers done. It's not that she wasn't cute beforehand with her snaggleteeth, but after visiting the cosmetic dentist she really looks like a Hollywood beauty.

Hollywood Gets Straightened And Whitened

Before getting his dental veneers done, George Clooney had gums that were too big for his teeth. Now he smiles with teeth that are fuller and more proportionate, making him look younger than he did before.

Zac Efron is a younger actor who made a huge splash with "High School Musical." If you've ever seen any of his pre-Musical TV appearances, you know that he had an extremely noticeable gap between his front teeth. Once again, dental work to the rescue!

In 2003, Nicholas Cage was seen with what looked like silver braces on his lower teeth. If you thought you spotted them, you were right. The star says that he was between movies and he wanted to get them straightened.

Finally, even boxers get work done. Mike Tyson had a smile makeover in recent years that got rid of his caps and his gap.

If a cosmetic dentist can do it for them, they can definitely do it for you. Only you don't have to pay tens of thousands of dollars at a Hollywood dental clinic. Your local dental clinic offers veneers, teeth straightening, teeth whitening and more at costs you can afford.

American Idol is a sensation across not only America but even in many countries across seas as well. There's just something people love about the idea of some unknown person coming out of nowhere and becoming world famous overnight. Actually American Idol was not the original; over in the U.K. a reality program called Pop Idol was what spawned the American Idol series. Of course this is a show run by a corporation after all, and as such the show was created to find new singing talent and advertise them through the shows viewers. Then the shows producers would gain exclusive rights to manage the idols and for merchandising. Even if the idol wanted to quit or go with someone else. Still, this show does keep up to its word and gives anyone with the guts to tryout a genuine chance at fame and fortune.

There are loads of great ideas you can use for this party theme. The most obvious is of course to have a marathon viewing session of the shows six seasons. You may just want to shorten it by showing the best episodes, or perhaps just the winning episodes or the patty could last for days. Another great choice would be karaoke. You could organize your own version of American Idol with your party goers playing the contestants and rating each other. Decorations can be a little vague for this theme, but if you want you could try to set up a mini stage, or at least a wall scroll of one. Stars, Streamers, confetti, and any other all purpose decorations would be a great idea.

You should make sure to purchase plenty of disposable paper plates, bowls, cups, and utensils. As well, as tablecloths and table covers, to make after party clean up loads easier. If you look around you can find American Idol themed party supplies.

Each doll comes with a pet, an accessory, a brush, a stand and a diary with a secret code that can unlock things on the website. The code gives you inside information on new characters, games and activities. The characters are all unique in style and also have a freaky flaw that is a big part of their personality such as Draculaura not being able to see her reflection in a mirror. So let's introduce the characters:

Frankie Stein

The daughter of Frankenstein and his bride. She's 15 years old and comes with her pet Watzit which is made up of all different animal parts.

Draculaura

The son of Medusa. He's 16 years old and comes with his pet rat, Perseus.

Cleo De Nile and Deuce Gorgon are Monster High's popular couple and high school sweethearts. Cleo is the mean girl of the school (every school has one) and Deuce is her super cool boyfriend. Frankie Stein, Draculaura and Clawdeen Wolf are BFF's. Lagoona Blue fits in everywhere.

So far Mattel hasn't released a full range of dolls clothes but that is all to come. In the meantime Bratz clothes will fit the Monster High gang even though they are a bit bigger than Bratz. The dolls are full articulated with the arms pulling apart at the elbow and wrist for easier redressing. For this reason and the fact that the earrings come off makes these dolls unsuitable for smaller kids. There's a plush version available for the younger kids though. Yes, Mattel has thought of everything.

Mattel has big plans for the Monster High Franchise. The Monster High website has animated webisodes on it. Mattel is planning to release a further collection of dolls called "Dawn Of The Dance" where the dolls will be wearing 80's style clothes to the school dance. A full live action feature film is coming out with Universal pictures which will propel Monster High even further.

Of course a Universal Picture can't be released without a full range of clothes, handbags, shoes, fashion accessories, hair accessories, jewelry, socks, slippers, costumes, you name it Monster High will have it. There's a series of Monster High books written by Lisi Harrison who is the New York Times #1 best selling young adult author which will be released over the coming years. An animated 30 minute special is coming featuring music from "American Idol" star Allison Iraheta.

Vampires and Werewolves have taken over the world due to the Twilight series which is aimed towards the older teen, Monster High will fill in the gaps and entertain the younger teens that are just a bit to young for Twilight. Monster High will definitely appeal to them. The Monster High franchise and in particular the Monster High Dolls are going to be a monster smash hit.

Will Monster High Dolls appeal to you?

Let's see, there's nothing on the market like them. They're unique and different and will appeal to not only kids but adults who love collecting dolls. Monster and horror fans will love collecting these dolls. They are also drop dead gorgeous as well as freaky so those who love fashion are gonna love em. Everyone will adore Monster High Dolls.

richard mathy talks about the bachelorette with deanna pappas

At the beginning of the fourth season of The Bachelorette, it seemed that Richard Mathy had captured the heart of DeAnna Pappas. The high school teacher from New York received a first impression rose on the first night, and was able to make himself stand out from the rest. However, through the course of the competition, DeAnna turned her attention to other men such as Jeremy, Jason and Graham. Richard was then placed in the sidelines, but was soon able to get a chance to make a connection with DeAnna Pappas again at the one on one date. However, DeAnna revealed that she wasn't feeling any connection with him anymore, and thus had to send him home.

Recently, Richard Mathy talked about his experiences on the show, and how it felt to see it all over again on national television.

"Monday was kind of like watching a really bad horror flick," he said in the conference call. "You knew that the guy should not go in the basement and he just goes in the basement anyway and he still acts surprised when he gets killed."

Mathy also revealed that he was hesitant going into the show because his job as a teacher required him to follow the school's morality clause. However, he says that

"The more I got going with the show, the less I thought about it."

He kept mum on the issue until the show aired, and his students fortunately supported him all throughout, much to his surprise.

"The kids were actually really great... They all supported me," he admitted. "Even the day after I was dismissed, they were really great about it. I did let them know that hanging out in the house is very similar to teaching 25 freshmen."

Despite getting the boot a little too early, Mathy says that he wishes the best for DeAnna Pappas. He supported her in making the decision for him to leave, as he believes that their chemistry can never be forced.

"You pretty much go out there, you show her who you are, she shows you who she is, and if it clicks it clicks. If it doesn't it doesn't. That's the idea of the show," he explained.

A fan of Carrie Underwood, he says that he is very much single right now and would like to land a date with the award-winning American Idol alum.

"If anybody knows her number and wants to send it my way, that's cool," he laughed.
